Amhara Bank would like to invite qualified and competent applicants to apply for the following vacant post.

1: Junior Warehouse Management Officer (Junior Store keeper)

Skill and educational background

BA in Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any other related fields

Experience: One/1 year of relevant experience preferably in banking industry

Purpose of the Job: To receive and store procured goods, reconcile physical items against the bin card, and follow-up stock levels so as to ensure smooth operation of the Bank.

Generic Functions:

Provide the required assistance in all activities of the work unit
Properly maintain important files/records and avail when required
Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices
Adhere to internal control system and risk management program of the Bank
Handle other related duties as may be required

Specific Functions:

Count, verify, receive, and properly store purchased goods
Update stock records when items are received and issued
Participate in distributing stock items as per the distribution plan
Reconcile physical items against the bin card and stock card records
Maintain records and documents required for the efficient operation of the store
Place of Work: Addis Ababa

 2: Warehouse Management Officer (Store Keeper)

Skill and educational background

BA in Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or any other related fields

Experience: Three/3 years of relevant Banking experience of which One/1 year on officer position

Purpose of the Job: To handle daily warehouse activities such as receiving and storing goods, managing stock levels, delivery of goods.

Generic Functions:

Mentor and enable staffs below his/her grades towards achieving their effective performance
Participate in developing, reviewing and implementing policies and procedures, plan /budget, performance report of the division
Provide services as per the service level agreement
Contribute to the Bank’s profitability as per the target set
Engage in teamwork, collaboration, and transparency work practices

Specific Functions:

Participate in the development and implementation of the required guidelines and procedures for store management process/ practice of the Bank, and update when required
Plan warehouse layout and space requirements, indexing and shelving, and facilitate safe house keeping and protection of goods from damage
Perform continuous reconciliation of property account records, and its smooth interface with records in another concerned units
Maintain and keep accurate records of warehouse
Handle other related duties as may be required.
