Arsenal transfer news Today: Gunners Fourth Player Sign Deal, Lavia.

It’s been a massive weekend for Arsenal after Jurrien Timber and Declan Rice confirmed their moves, the latter for a club-record fee, with the likes of Folarin Balogun potentially leaving the Emirates

Arsenal’s summer spending hit £200m over the weekend with their latest arrivals announced.

A club-record deal for Declan Rice has been confirmed shortly after Jurrien Timber, formerly a Manchester United target, joined from Ajax. Alongside Kai Havertz the trio represent a huge investment in the playing squad by Mikel Arteta.

There could yet be more new faces with Southampton’s Romeo Lavia linked, but the focus is set to centre on exits. Thomas Partey, Rob Holding and, notably, Folarin Balogun could all leave the Emirates as they seek more minutes or new opportunities elsewhere.

Saudi side keen on Partey

Al-Ahli have emerged as favourites to sign Thomas Partey, according to reports in the Middle East.

The Gunners want £40 million for him, with the fee no issue for the Saudi side.

Interest in Partey

Thomas Partey is attracting “a lot” of interest this summer as Arsenal weigh up whether to sell the midfielder.

According to Sky Sports, Partey could be sold by the Gunners this summer amid reported interest from Saudi Arabia and several European clubs.

Arsenal are likely to sign another midfielder should Partey go.

Aston Villa have lodged a fresh bid worth in the region of £40million to sign former Arsenal target Moussa Diaby.

According to L’Equipe, the Frenchman is being targeted by Villa and Unai Emery’s side are determined to land him.

Arsenal prepare Lavia swoop

Arsenal are plotting a move to sign Romeo Lavia from Southampton, according to reports.

The Gunners could be ready to sign the 18-year-old with Thomas Partey linked with a move to Saudi Arabia and Granit Xhaka already leaving the Emirates Stadium this summer.

Liverpool have also been linked with Lavia.
