1: Operation Coordinator

Location: Addis Ababa, Addis Ababa

Salary: 1200 USD-1400 USDM

Job Purpose:

As a member of the Country Management Team (CMT), the SC contributes to the strategic development and management of the overall country programme, ensuring effective and efficient systems support to programme implementation in both development and emergency contexts.
Reporting to the Systems Director, the SC is responsible for coordinating and managing the support systems (Admin and Logistics) and in conjunction with the SD will play a key role in operational security management for Concern’s in Ethiopia.
The SC must be aware of, understand and ensure staff and system compliance with all donor and Concern policies and procedures. The SC, in consultation with the SD, will assist in developing Concern’s systems, staffing and procedures to increase efficiencies and accountability, and to maximize our impact on poverty and crisis reduction.

Skill and educational background

6/8 years of related experience with postgraduate or with first degree in supply Chain, logistics, and related field respectively.
At least 6 years’ experience with an NGO in a systems management role.
Experience of leading and managing a diverse team of senior staff.
Proven strong management ability, including ability to motivate and develop skills of others.
Empathy with Concern’s vision, mission, goal, objectives, and commitment to capacity building, protection and participati
Experience working overseas
Experience of a range of donor rules and regulations, particularly OFDA, UN-OCHA, EU and ECHO
Knowledge of Concern Policies and procedures
Experience of both development and emergency contexts

Other Required skills:

Fluent English (written and spoken) and excellent communication skills
Excellent organisational and planning skills. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
Willingness to travel frequently to rural field locations and experience basic conditions.
Excellent interpersonal skills, Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity.

Demonstrated experience of team building and working in a participatory manner.

2: Transport/Fleet/Logistic officer

Location: Mekelle, Tigray

Salary:  1200 USD

Terms of employment: Definite Period

Job Summary:

To Manage Concern worldwide Tigray Region, emergency response project’s Transport & Logistics activities in line with professional principles and Concern Worldwide Ethiopia’s rules and regulation.

Skill and educational background

BA degree in Accounting, Transport (automotive technology), Logistic and supply chain management and related field of studies
4 years of relevant experience with the first degree.
2 years of relevant experience plus post graduate degree.
Profound experience in finance, administration, logistics
NGO experience in emergency projects is an advantage

Skills Required:

Basic supervisory/managerial skills.
Technical and report writing skills
Computer literate.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
